The principal’s extensive backgrounds in operations and sales give them the opportunity to cross over in all of their positions which give their team a distinct cohesiveness. Both principal’s were born and raised in Hawaii and have a deep love for the islands they call home.
Christy Yomes, Principal
Along with an extensive background in sales and operations in the destination management industry, Christy brings her dynamic skills and excellent customer service to Chrysalis Events Hawaii. As Managing Director of Operations she is committed to learning our clients’ goals and what they wish to accomplish with every program and event. Her passion and enthusiasm for both the islands and our customers allow her to operate a first class program from ground services, creative themed events, activities, and on-site staffing. With her five years experience in the hotel industry and over 20 years in destination management sales and operations, Christy is driven to provide a memorable experience for our clients and their program attendees.
Jonnel Wyatt, Principal
With over 20 years experience in sales and operations for both the hotel and destination management industries, Jonnel brings a fresh and professional approach to event planning and program design. As Managing Director of Sales for Chrysalis Events Hawaii, she oversees the Sales & Marketing and continues to enhance our portfolio of clients. Not only does she provide excellent customer service, she is passionate about exceeding our clients’ expectations. Jonnel has worked within the hotel industry as Director of Catering & Convention Services and Director of Group Sales, though her passion has always been destination management where she has handled both inside and outside sales.
