The principal’s extensive backgrounds in operations and sales give them the opportunity to cross over in all of their positions which give their team a distinct cohesiveness. All three were born and raised in Hawaii and have a deep love for the islands they call home.

Christy Yomes, Managing Director of Sales
Christy brings her dynamic skills and excellent customer service to Chrysalis Events Hawaii along with an extensive background in Sales and Operations for the destination management industry. As Managing Director of Sales she finds out what our customers’ goals are and what they want to accomplish out of every event. Her passion and enthusiasm for both the islands and our customers allow her to design a first class program from ground services, creative themed events, activities, and on-site staffing. With her 5 years experience in Hotel Sales and almost 20 years in DMC Sales and Operations, Christy is driven to provide a memorable experience for our customers.

Kory Wong, Managing Director of Business Development
Kory brings her knowledge of accounting and budgeting to Chrysalis Events Hawaii. She oversees vendor relations, internal operations, and the financial side of event planning and destination management. Kory graduated from Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii and attended the University of Washington where she received her Bachelors of Science in General Biology. Upon graduation, she returned to Hawaii to pursue and fulfill her passion for the hospitality industry. She went on to work for two years in the Destination Management field before becoming one of the original founders of Chrysalis Events Hawaii.

Jonnel Wyatt, Managing Director of Operations
With 22 years experience in sales and operations for both the hotel and destination management industry Jonnel Wyatt brings a fresh and professional approach to event planning and program operation. As Managing Director of Operations for Chrysalis Events Hawaii she organizes the group on-site and hires a talented pool of travel directors to execute a successful program. She has worked within the hotel industry as Director of Catering & Convention Services and Director of Group Sales. Her passion has always been Destination Management where she has handled both inside and outside sales and her all-time favorite being an on-site Travel Director
